So I have been trying to add Senior grads to my portfolio and called out a couple months ago to some of my facebook followers asking for the opportunity to take their portraits and represent Lisa Marie Photographie…If you don’t remember, this was what I was asking for :

- A Facebook timeline cover photo
- A complimentary family session before you leave to college
- A complimentary 5×7 family photo to take with you to college
I will only be accepting South Bay residents : Torrance, Lomita, Beach Cities, San Pedro & Palos Verdes.
Luckily enough, I got to photograph to great young adults: Emily, my friend Sunshine’s beautiful daughter who I have been wanting to photograph and Vini, Emily’s close friend. A cheerleader and a football player- can I ask for more? I think not! I did try to coax them into wearing their uniforms but maybe we can save that for a later date (hopefully). Emily is graduating in 2016- we did a little more whimsical and went for a sunset session down near RAT Beach. With Vini, it was actually raining that day- what a trooper- we went to a downtown Torrance area to create that more serious masculine look- he graduates in a couple months..woohoo!
There is something to be said about that time in your life…getting ready to graduate, enjoying life, you are not quite responsible for much yet. Can I go back please? haha I always think of that song “Seventeen” by Tim McGraw…that age definitely comes once in a lifetime.
