Take a look at this beautiful engagement session located near Pasadena at Eaton Canyon- what a beautiful spot for photos, especially when you are engaged, full of love and getting ready to say I do! Lauren and Geoff met through church and have dated for about 8 years. Geoff actually proposed to Lauren while on a hike so we figured this location was pretty fitting.
I met Lauren through my sister a couple years back when I was getting ready for my own wedding- she helped wherever she was needed- but mostly she did my makeup and all of my bridesmaids. I have also used Lauren for my Boudoir Mini Sessions – blog coming soon btw! She is one talented lady- an aspiring wedding planner currently working for “Pop the Champagne Events” as an intern I cannot wait to see her work and of course the wedding she is planning for her and Geoff.
The is way too many wonderful things to say about this couple…you know when you just see a certain sparkle? Well these two have it for sure! Both of them just willing to do pretty much whatever I asked- even if it meant running in HEELS near a bush marked poison oak- don’t worry we are all safe. It was actually kinda funny, when I pulled up to read all the signs to this canyon I have never been to I felt like I was in the wizard of oz…Instead of “lions, tigers and bears” we were warned of “snakes, mountain lions and poison oak.” I guess that is nature in it’s beauty, you have to brave these elements for the beautiful photos sometimes.
However, aside from the “dangers” there were beautiful trees, greenery, fields of flowers and a waterfall if you manage to get far enough in. I may have to re visit with these two on their 1- year anniversary to make it to the waterfall.
Here’s that field of beautiful flowers I was talking about- just GORGEOUS!
The light was absolutely beautiful and well, Lauren & Geoff were just breathtaking….
These are gorgeous engagement photos. And I gotta say that this girl is stylin’. So many beautiful dresses.
Linda!! Right! Just wait till I post the wedding!
