Griffith Park Engagement: Shannon + Kyle

I am in LOVE with Shannon and Kyle’s Griffith Park engagement session. We were looking for something a little different with a nature meets urban feel so we decided to go to Griffith park and check out the locomotives (and yes its legal to walk on the train tracks there).. Let me tell you, working with two talented photographers has its perks. Also because they are just so naturally in love with each other – they just fell into amazing loving poses in front of my lens.

Kyle and Shannon met online .. yes online. Actually a lot of couples do meet online these days! Gasp! I think it’s amazing that they could use that tool to find love. They were just sick of the bs of the dating world and went for it! I asked how he popped the question.. he said I asked her in the same place I met her – the driveway that I picked her up on our first date. He said that moment will always be special so why pick a special occasion to ask when we are going to be celebrating our lives together forever. Aww…so sweet!
As we chatted throughout the session and I knew they were a great match. My little hippie free spirited friend has found love and I couldn’t be happier for them and their new adventure together. Their wedding is going to be absolutely breathtaking too, which is always a plus for me! They are saying their I do’s in Idyllwild mountains and I just know it will be a great day. Not gonna lie – shooting other photographers had me kinda nervous but I will say it was a lot of fun to talk shop and take romantic photos..Congrats and looking forward to learning some long exposure tips from you as well.
