Baby Jayden just turned 1 and he has the MOST AWESOME carnival themed cake smash to prove it! I drove down to Irvine to meet this little guy and his super spiffy family a couple weeks ago and let me tell you, the set up was just a dream for a photographer. Let me call it Pinterest perfection! Mom, aka Mary, was a referral through a family that I took photos of earlier in the year (which will be featured soon!). Mary wasn’t sure if she wanted to do Dr. Suess or Carnival themed- but as much as I love Cat in the Hat…this was perfect- so many possibilities and activities for the kids to participate in! Face painting, balloon animals, popcorn, shaved ice, a jumpy topped off by a magic show by the “Handsome Hector” with a live rabbit! Let’s just say the kids were floored by it all! Never a dull moment!

I couldn’t resist this kid- he didn’t even want to go in the jumpy at first…I think he definitely changed his mind toward the end
