Malaga Cove Engagement {Laura + Mark}

Sunset Engagement Photography in Torrance, Ca

You may or may not have noticed but I have been making Malaga Cove and Torrance Beach my property for my photo sessions lately: engagement, maternity, head shots and family- you name it – lately I am there A LOT! Definitely not a bad thing- it is beautiful and so versatile so that is why Laura and Mark decided to shoot their engagement photos there when we met for drinks at the San Franciscan in Torrance. If you haven’t been there, you MUST go! Best prime-rib in the area and a super laid back ambiance that takes you back to the days of red booths, stiff drinks and waitresses who have been there forever!

Mark and Laura actually met in high school…apparently, she had always had a crush on him way back then but didn’t actually connect until a few years ago. Isn’t that crazy?!?  She claims she was “too chicken” to actually do anything about it, funny how time changes us right? Chance meeting at a local hangout in Torrance changed their whole lives. I think it’s awesome if you ask me!

The sunset was just gorgeous that night…sometimes the clouds just bring in that perfect amount of haze and the pink sunset shows her beauty…my absolute favorite thing in the world is a pink sunset!

You know what else I love about this couple? They are not afraid to have fun with one another! It is so important to make fun apart of your relationship- especially when you are planning a wedding, which can be so stressful. These two were such a joy to photograph! An engagement session can also bring in so many emotions and it is so nice to see it so clearly in their photographs – at one point, these two were just gazing into each others eyes and you could just tell these two are ready to spend the rest of their lives together!
