Malaga Cove Twins: Katie + Robert

Meet Katie & Robert, they have twins on the way and we decided that the Palos Verdes Malaga Cove area would be perfect for their maternity photos. What a special moment it is for expecting parents celebrating the almost arrival of their twin boys, Carter & Waylon.

Over the past few years,  I have watched their journey and struggles to become parents. They have certainly had their ups and downs in this journey and have been very open about it all with everyone. Katie and Robert have been so patiently waiting for this moment in their lives. Just three years ago, I remember sitting with Katie and talking about when we would do her maternity photos and in my mind I just knew this day would come. Even writing this, I feel myself getting a little choked up and just couldn’t be happier for this  jeep loving, adventurous and deserving couple.

I find it so refreshing and giving because there are so many out there who struggle with fertility issues. You are not alone.. this session was so important to me because I want to tell their story and share in their joy as well.

At one point I looked at Katie and said.. can you even believe we are here? Finally! Taking YOUR maternity photos? Loaded question to ask, I know. But I knew that we were definitely experiencing a significant memory that they will certainly cherish down the line. A story they can tell their boys when they get older. That emotion in itself is almost breathtaking and I feel so lucky to have been apart of it.

Now that their little miracles are on the way, Robert and Katie post a lot through Facebook about their little boys…you can just feel the gratitude coming through. Robert is so proud of his wife Katie and their love shines through thick and thin.  So thrilled for them to become parents…Baby Carter & Waylon are some lucky boys that is all I have to say.
