Palos Verdes Lighthouse Engagement: Adriana + David

Oh man, this Palos Verdes Lighthouse and beach engagement session for Adriana and David is one of my absolute faves…Talk about the golden light! I mean Palos Verdes in itself is perfect for an engagement session but some high school sweethearts like Adriana and David and you get perfection! These two weren’t even sure they were able to make time for an engagement session and man I am so glad they did. Guys, if you’re reading this…My camera and my instagram thank you for this session haha and now here we are on the blog!

We started at the Pt Vicente Lighthouse about an hour before Golden Hour…It was such a beautiful day, even the whales were out. Also meaning the crowds were definitely present especially because it was a Saturday. We may or may not have been asked if we had a permit (we didn’t oops). I think especially because it was so busy is the reasoning, good thing we finished quickly so we could get to our next destination which we were super excited for!

I think you can see why…Can you see Catalina Island in the background? By the way, if you have never been, GO!! It is such a nice little getaway great for sun, drinks and adventuring all over the island. Back to this session though, just wow! Also, as most couples say “I’m awkward in photos” – these two “claimed” the same. I think the proof is in the photos, once we got started Adriana and David became more comfortable in front of the camera and their love shined throughout their engagement photos. Their wedding is today – I am so glad that we did this because now we are familiar with one another and photos are going to go smooth.

For the ending of their Palos Verdes engagement session, yes there is more, we headed over to Abalone Cove for some fun beach photos on the shore and in the lifeguard tower. By the time we parked, Adriana’s mom drove so we could be sure to get there and not worry – Sunset was in full effect so we raced down the trail just in time. Yep, I get a workout during these sessions but that’s ok. So thankful we made it and I can’t wait for their wedding to start!
