Natalie and Scott’s Rancho Las Lomas wedding in Silverado was probably one the most gorgeous, colorful weddings I have ever photographed. Their wedding day was an absolute breeze as these two are one of the most laidback couples I have ever met!
I actually met Natalie and Scott through their Mom Tracey! We were in the same BNI group together for a few years and I FEEL SO LUCKY to have her as a friend. Tracey is actually a personal branding client of mine and an amazing California Mortgage Specialist, you can learn more about her here: 10 Mistakes to Avoid When Applying for a Loan.
Natalie and Scott wanted to keep things traditional opted to not have a first look. Which is totally fine! Instead Natalie surprised her father with a first look, which is so amazing! We still managed to get a ton of photos of their wedding party and family beforehand so no biggie! I tell all my couples it is THEIR wedding day, so do what feels right for you!
The Venue: Rancho Las Lomas
Located in Silverado, Ca – Rancho Las Lomas is just stunning filled with so many options for your wedding. The Spanish architecture takes you back to that old school California Missions history while you are surrounded by a zoological garden. There are also indoor and outdoor options when it comes to your ceremony and reception. You really can’t go wrong with such a gorgeous location!
The Details
The combination of the florals from The Bloom of Time and Calligraphy from Honest Type is the best! I just love the mix match of pinks and all the elements of deep blues and greens! I just love those jeweled tones – they bring so much richness to everything! The Spanish architecture of Rancho Las Lomas matched their wedding theme perfectly.
The Reception
The great part about a Southern California wedding is nine times out of ten the weather is perfect. I loved how Rancho Las Lomas flipped the space seamlessly from ceremony to reception. Since this Orange County wedding was in February, the couple opted for a few heaters to keep warm. Another one of my most favorite things is bistro lights! So simple but yet such a romantic vibe! Lastly, the couple hired a Billy Idol Cover band and a DJ! Such a smart choice on their part so you get all your options including someone to announce all the major parts of the night.
Lisa is amazing, she is so professional in her work ethic and takes beautiful photos. We feel so lucky to have used her for our wedding. She got all the shots and didn’t take too long on getting the right photos. She really listened to what we wanted and we are so happy with how everything turned out.
