Branding Photography in Los Angeles is more than just headshots or curated social media images—it’s about capturing the heart of what you do, telling your story, and making an authentic connection with your audience. When my friend Chasey told me she was writing a book about urban farming, I knew we had to create a set of images that truly represented her passion and purpose.

Los Angeles has become my second home, and I take clients there all the time—especially in the fall, when I photograph so many incredible families and weddings. Whether it’s branding sessions like Chasey’s, capturing a couple’s big day, or documenting families in their favorite LA spots, I love getting to blend my Tahoe roots with my work in the city. There’s just something special about bringing a vision to life in such a vibrant, dynamic place.
Chasey is not only an expert in all things hair (she’s my LA blonde queen), but she’s now also a published author! Her book, Modern Farming, is dedicated to helping people grow their own food in urban spaces—because let’s be real, not everyone has a huge backyard, but that shouldn’t stop anyone from having access to fresh, homegrown food. The fact that she’s using one of these photos for the cover makes this session even more special!

Why Branding Photos Matter
Your brand is more than a logo or a color scheme—it’s YOU. It’s your story, your passion, and the way you show up in the world. Whether you’re launching a business, writing a book, or leveling up your brand, high-quality, intentional photography makes a huge difference in how you connect with your audience.
With Chasey’s branding session, we wanted to capture: ✅ Her connection to urban gardening ✅ The joy and authenticity behind her work ✅ A mix of fun, personality-filled images alongside professional shots ✅ Moments that show her in action, from picking tomatoes to getting her hands in the soil ✅ And of course, a little cameo from my pup, Ćevapi, because why not?

The Process: A Fun and Laid-Back Branding Session
Chasey and I had the best time during her branding session—playing in the dirt, picking fresh produce, and bringing her vision to life. The goal wasn’t just to get pretty photos, but to create images that feel like her.
From capturing her playful side (like the tomato-over-the-eye moment) to snapping some cozy shots in the garden, every image is meant to help tell the story of what she’s about. And let’s be honest, nothing beats a branding session where you can be barefoot in the dirt and fully in your element!
