Larry and Johnny Carson Park. I love this location- it offers a great natural setting with a variety of landscape options for backdrops.
I really enjoyed this session- it was a combination engagement and family shoot.
First, I have to say, Larry and Catherine are such a great match. They actually met at the gym – he proposed there too! – and you can tell after spending a little time with them that their health & general fitness is a passion they share.
They enjoy everyday life with each other. When I asked Catherine what their favorite things to do together were, she responded: “We are a very simple couple, so the simplest of moments makes us smile from sitting on the couch talking with our girls and watching them interact or watching a show together to boating or taking a road trip.” Personally, I LOVE this. I’m the same way with my hubby (but with watching football) 😉

Catherine feels very much the same about Larry. Telling me “He is a man of his word with great morals and values. He is a family man and a very hard-worker. He is driven and speaks his mind.”
After these sweet moments between Larry and Christina, we joined their family together for pictures. Larry is surrounded by females (ha!) – the older girls pictured are from Larry’s first marriage…the precious little one is theirs. His oldest daughter’s husband and boys joined in on the fun too. It was a blast! They’re all so loving.
