If you are a fan of beauty, then you will LOVE Charlotte and Meshell’s Lake Arrowhead wedding at the Autograph Collection Lake Arrowhead Resort! As if there wasn’t enough love surrounding these ladies the stunning views of the lake and warm fire made the day ultra romantic.

I have been photographing this family for 5 years and now I get to share in all the love of their Lake Arrowhead Wedding!! Can I just say how grateful I am to have been a part of their story? This family was probably my 10th photoshoot I ever had when I went “oh so professional” charging $80 a pop for an hour session. Here we are so many photoshoots later celebrating their wedding!

Yeah…It only took me a year and a half to post the blog but I decided to give myself grace and post anyway.

The resort itself is literally right on the lake and you get a view throughout the ceremony. As their tag line is “Say I DO with a lake view!” The great thing is that you get that view all night and the next day when you go have brunch at the cute little downtown area. The location is perfect for a smaller destination wedding but still close enough to home so your guests find this to be a more affordable option regarding travel.

Now let me say yes…It was 40 degrees and a tad chilly for the South Bay guests – but they provided warmth with some cozy blankets for them to cuddle up in! Lizzy, Charlotte’s daughter,  was a huge part of their wedding – which I found absolutely lovely. So often, the kids get forgotten but you could just feel the real bond as a family. I think that was one of my favorite things about this wedding.

I loved their decor of pine cones, greenery, and white florals to accent their lovely mountainside backdrop on the lake.

After the grand entrance,  the brides came into a room full of cheers as Meshell whipped out the mic she was hiding to sang “just the way you are” throughout in the first dance. She is a Karaoke host so stage fright was definitely not a thing for her.

The cupcakes and signs were amazing! I loved the personal touch they added. The pinecones all handpicked including a handmade fire starter pinecone as a favor to the guests. Overall, the day was one for the books! So much love, singing, dancing and shots!

Katie & Jose’s Tannenbaum wedding was full of heart, golden summer light, and the kind of moments I love most—quiet vows, joyful dancing, and details that felt 100% them.
