I am in love with this Palos Verdes and Hermosa Beach Engagement session. On the day of Kristen and Bill’s engagement session, in true South Bay form, it was super grey out. We almost decided to wait for a day with more sun, but the couple just moved to Nashville and are starting that adventure before they get married.
This Palos Verdes session still ended up being lots of fun, Kristen and Bill brought a special guest for the first part of our photo shoot- their fur baby, Madison!
These two love to try new restaurants, travel, hang with our pup, and drink wine together.. Sounds good to me!! I asked Kristen what here favorite things about Bill are: The way he takes care of me and our dog Madison. He always goes above and beyond without asking. I know he’ll be a great life partner and father one day. This is what Bill had to say about his future bride: I love Her adventurous spirit. She makes every day feel like an opportunity to grow, learn, and fall in love all over again. She always wants to try the newest restaurant, go to a part of town we’ve never been, or plan a trip that has us guessing at every turn. All the while we smile and laugh until the day is done. We met another little furry creature on our way out…just in time for easter.
Kristin and Bill met at the fun bar in Hermosa, American Junkie a few years ago which ended with the two sharing laughs over pizza at Paisanos after the local Hermosa bars closed down. So we headed on down to the beach for some photos!
Recently these two got engaged in Seattle on the rooftop overlooking the Ferris wheel. After they got free champagne from The Nest Rooftop Bar all night!
Kristen actually found me through another couple that I am working with also…gotta love the gram amiright?
Anytime a couple brings Champagne I am down..It always adds a nice element to the photos and a great way to have some fun!
He’s the cook of the household. I can make a mean frozen pizza though! He’s also more clean and when he wants me to pick something up he’ll say “welp there’s another booby trap”
They ended their night at the Paisanos Pizza place in Hermosa Beach the night they met so we went by for a few slices too!!
I can’t wait to see where Kristin’s adventurous spirit and Bill’s caring personality lead these two in the future. I asked them what they took away from their engagement session and this is what they wrote, I don’t think I could ask for a better answer:
- Have fun
- Do what feels natural
- Be patient and listen to Lisa’s advice!
Yes, having the pictures done made us realize it was easy and fun and didn’t have to be stressful. It ensures me that pictures can also turn out great without the sun!
