Laguna Beach Engagement: Natalie + Scott

It is time for Natalie and Scotts wedding and I couldn’t be more thrilled to share this spring engagement session at Laguna Beach! I think this was literally the first real warm day in Laguna because let me tell you it was packed! Thank God for the magic of photoshop so I could make it look as romantic as possible minus the million people enjoying their beach day.

I actually met Natalie and Scott through Natalies mom, Tracey, though BNI. Wondering what BNI is? We are a worldwide networking referral group and I happen to go to the amazing Pipeline BNI in Redondo Beach every Thursday at 6:45am at Rock N’Brews to pump up our business and one another too! Don’t worry, I plan on writing a blogpost in the near future as I hit my 2 year anniversary as a member in June. I the instagram account if you’re curious…

So back to Natalie and Scott and our beautiful Laguna Beach Engagement session. I was so excited to finally meet them in person in Laguna after months of chatting via email and text. Natalie is living her dream of working with children with special needs as a school psychologist and Scott is focused on expanding the aerospace company he started a few years ago. These two love cooking, shopping, hiking, swimming, traveling, watching soccer and tennis. I think they put Igor and I to shame when it comes to activities haha.

But their engagement story….WOW! These lovebirds got engaged in Paris, “he got down on one knee in at Tuileries Garden and then we took photos by the Eiffel tower afterwards. It was a complete surprise and something we will cherish forever”. How romantic is that?

I decided to start asking all of my couples aside from a save the date what makes the engagement session meaningful to you and they literally had the best answer…”To learn how to take photos together, to have fun, and have some great photos for our save the dates and guest book.” 1000% YES! This is also the time we get to know one another and talk about the wedding day too!

When I asked what Natalie loves about Scott..

I love that I can talk to him about anything whether it is family, friends, work related or I am in need of advice, he is always there to listen to me vent about anything. Scott is an amazing man who takes care of me and our families. I know he will make a wonderful husband and father to our children. I can’t wait for all of our future adventures together.

Then I asked what Scott loves about Natalie…

What I love most about Natalie is that she is thoughtful, caring and loving to me. Our time together has been wonderful with the experiences that we shared together during the time we have been dating. She will be a loving mother to our children and I look forward to planning for that future together.

Lastly, since I am super nosey because I want to get to know my people I found that they love Big Little Lies and Vanderpump Rules among many other reality shows I know we are a great match!! Now its time to head of to Rancho Las Lomas in Silverado for their wedding! Woohoo!!

Katie & Jose’s Tannenbaum wedding was full of heart, golden summer light, and the kind of moments I love most—quiet vows, joyful dancing, and details that felt 100% them.
