As a Temecula wedding photographer, I love capturing love stories at Galway Downs, one of my favorite venues in Southern California.Adriana and Alex’s Temecula wedding was nothing short of magical! ,I love capturing love stories at this stunning venue, and theirs was an unforgettable celebration filled with love, laughter, and beautiful moments.

A Dreamy Wedding Day in Temecula

The day began with Adriana getting ready with her closest friends and family. She wore a breathtaking gown from Anthropologie, which flowed effortlessly and complemented the natural beauty of Galway Downs. Her details were equally stunning—from her earrings and shoes to her veil, which she had two options to choose from (such a fun touch!). Meanwhile, Alex looked dapper, incorporating Marvel-themed details in a classy way—his cufflinks, tie, and socks subtly weaved in his love for the franchise while still matching the wedding colors beautifully.

A First Look & Thoughtful Wedding Timeline

One of my favorite parts of the day was how we front-loaded so many key moments before the ceremony. Adriana and Alex opted for a first look, most of their family photos, and even a reception room reveal—which is quickly becoming a new favorite of mine! Doing so much before the ceremony really allows couples to relax and enjoy the rest of the day, including cocktail hour.

They also chose to have a small wedding party—just a Maid of Honor and Best Man—and hot take, I think we’ll be seeing more of this trend! Keeping it simple makes the day more intimate and focused on the couple.

A Romantic Ceremony at Galway Downs

Set under a canopy of trees with sunlight filtering through the leaves, Adriana and Alex’s ceremony felt like a scene from a fairy tale. The intimate setting, combined with their heartfelt vows, created an atmosphere that left no dry eyes in the crowd. As a Temecula wedding photographer, I love documenting these raw emotions and the unique details that make each wedding so special.

If you’re dreaming of a wedding with a mix of rustic elegance and natural beauty, Galway Downs is an incredible choice. Check out another stunning Southern California wedding I photographed at Rancho Las Lomas, a venue filled with charm and unique details!

A Stunning Reception with Cold Sparklers & Intimate Vibes

After the ceremony, the celebration continued at the beautifully decorated reception space. The rustic yet elegant charm of Galway Downs provided the perfect backdrop for an evening filled with joy and romance. Floral arrangements in soft blush tones and lush greenery enhanced the ambiance, while twinkling fairy lights set the stage for Adriana and Alex’s unforgettable first dance.

One of the most special moments of the night was their cold sparkler entrance, which made for some seriously epic photos! What made it even more meaningful? They included their three kiddos in the entrance, making it a true family moment.

They also kept their wedding intimate, with only 60 guests, and to save on costs, they chose a Thursday wedding—such a smart idea! More couples are realizing how weekday weddings allow them to stretch their budget while still having an amazing celebration.

Capturing the Magic of Galway Downs Weddings

As a wedding photographer in Temecula, Galway Downs is easily one of my favorite venues. The vibes are just perfect, and the getting ready spaces are simple, beautiful, and filled with great light—a dream for photos! There are also so many different areas on the property to take photos, making every wedding unique.

I also specialize in Lake Tahoe elopements, capturing intimate moments in breathtaking settings. If you’re planning a wedding or elopement, take a look at my most recent blog featuring a stunning Lake Tahoe elopement.

Lauren and Jordan’s Tahoe Blue Estate wedding was the perfect blend of fun and intimacy. With a “Mountain Mexico Chic with Tahoe Vibes” theme, colorful florals, a personalized shot ski, and even Himalayan salt shot glasses, their celebration was packed with personality. As good friends of mine, it was an honor to capture their special day before their move to South Carolina, and I truly felt like it was the perfect Tahoe send-off!
